Pure Thread Line is the heritage of a family-run business created in 1976 in Paris. From a home-based workshop to a small Parisian factory in the center of Paris, le Marais, the venture then moved to Milan. Fashion, fibers and free-flow were the inspiration to creating a sustainable clothing line with eco-friendly fabrics and low-impact dyes. Our family moved to Maui and it was a life changing experience for us. Starting over in a new place so far away was challenging but the connection to Hawaii was so strong that it magnetically pulled our spirits closer to Maui. We arrived and immediately began swimming, hiking, and embarking on many new adventures. The people, food, and scenery are so beautiful that it basically cleansed our souls. This energy is what prompted the creation of Alpha Maui. Alpha “The Beginning” represents this new chapter of our lives for which we are eternally grateful. We incorporate our adventures and experiences into our clothing line reminding all of our customers and friends to take it back to the beginning
