Kauai Animal Education farm is a family operated nonprofit farm animal rescue that provides services for our community to interact with sweet, loving animals in a beautiful Kauai setting. Centerally located in Kapaa visiting KAEF is a great activity for the whole family to enjoy. Directions provided with booking. KAEF has no county address, so please follow directions, not GPS. We currently do not have the facility to care for baby chickens. Leave them alone, allow momma to come back for them. Mahalo Get involved by volunteering! ʻAʻOHE HANA NUI KE ALU ʻIA. The Kaua`i Humane Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering respect, responsibility and compassion for all animals and enriching lives by nurturing healthy relationships between pets and people on the island of Kaua`i and beyond. KHS is a local, independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization. KHS has been serving the island of Kaua’i as its only open-intake animal shelter since 1952. Adoption Hours are daily from 12 pm- 4:30 pm (except Thursdays) Field Trip Walk-Ins accepted from 10 am - 12 pm (except Thursdays)
