Thirty-one species of birds, including endangered ae‘o (Hawaiian stilt, Himantopus mexicanus knudseni), ‘alae ke‘oke‘o (Hawaiian coot, Fulica alai), ‘alae‘ula (Hawaiian moorhen, Gallinula galeata sandvicensis), endangered koloa maoli (Hawaiian duck, Anas wyvilliana), and threatened nēnē (Hawaiian goose, Branta sandvicensis).
